How often should you really be servicing your vehicle? Sarah Smith | January 26th, 2020 Are you new to the Beachwood, Mayfield, Bainbridge, Hunting Valley or surrounding areas? Or maybe a fellow resident that is actively looking for a different auto shop to service your BMW, Porsche, Mercedes or Mini Cooper? Here at Koala Motorsport, our trained, professional and extremely knowledgeable team will have you feeling like family in no time, be someone that you can truly trust and look forward to building a long-term relationship with. When do I need to bring my vehicle in? Have you ever wondered how often you should be taking your vehicle in to keep up on basic maintenance and service? There are a lot of different suggestions and mixed reviews, however we have some basic guidelines to follow. Now, if you are sensing a change in the handling of your vehicle, maybe some shakiness when you hit a higher accelerated speed, or something just isn’t quite feeling right, it is always best to bring your vehicle in as soon as you can. By doing this you can help prevent a situation from becoming far worse both financially and even physically to yourself and others around you. Factors to keep in mind There is no one size fits all answer as to when you need to be bringing your vehicle in, which is why we recommend taking our service technicians opinions into consideration, as they are the ones giving advice tailored specifically to your vehicle. Not everyone drives the exact same amount of mileage, drives on the same surfaces and quality of roads as you, or maintains their vehicle the same – hence why each person receives specific advice and not cookie cutter feedback from our technicians here at Koala Motorsport. Bringing in your vehicle It is always best to keep up on oil changes, tire rotations, and all other fluids under your hood that help keep your vehicle running. Also be sure to replace tires in a timely manner as well. Our service technicians here will give you recommended times for oil changes, as well as all other regular services in order to keep your vehicle running in tip-top shape. Keep in mind, not only does regular servicing increase the overall lifespan of your vehicle, but it also increases safety and reliability.
