Doing Business with Koala Motorsport

HANDLING CHARGE Why do we charge a handling fee?  Our shopping cart gives you various choices of shipping speed, all through UPS.  The UPS rates are actual rates for a UPS account holder.  In other words, they are cheaper rates than the rates you get at a UPS store or by using the UPS website on a casual basis. The problem is that these published UPS rates do NOT take into account their fuel surcharge or pickup fees.  Fuel surcharge rates, as of March 3rd, 2008, are 6.0% for UPS Ground and 18.5% for UPS Air Service. Our handling charge is designed to compensate for this discrepancy between published rates and actual rates as well as reimburse us a small portion of the actual packing materials costs.

GUARANTEE All parts are guaranteed to be first quality merchandise or in condition as expressly described on web site, or in e-mail or phone conversation. Defective merchandise must be returned at customer's expense for replacement. We will replace all defective parts but cannot accept responsibility for inconvenience or losses occasioned by their use. There is no warranty if parts have become defective due to faulty installation or abused in any way. Customer assumes all liability and risk out of the use of high performance products. There is no warranty, express or implied for any parts or work used for competition or track driving school events. No warranty on electrical parts. Several products carry a manufacturer's warranty. All parts with the exception of electrical, high performance and products already carrying their own warranty will be warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever occurs first. Customer shall notify Koala Motorsport within 10 days of defect discovery. We reserve the right to withhold refund until defective part has been examined and tested.

RETURN POLICY We cannot accept unauthorized returns. Please write, e-mail or call us whenever there is a need for adjustment. Returned parts must be in clean, unused, original or as-received condition, packed in the manufacturer's original packaging, and received at Koala Motorsport within 30 days of date of sale. No return will be accepted without invoice/sales receipt number or date of sale. We will issue you a return authorization number that must be marked on the return package. Our shipping department does not accept packages with no return authorization number. Returned items will be inspected before a refund is issued. No COD refunds accepted. A 15% restocking fee may be deducted on all returns unless due to our error.

There will be no refunds for opened software. Exchange only, for defective software, under the above guidelines.

Damaged Items
When packages appear damaged on arrival, state condition of the container over your signature on the receipt. If damage is discovered after opening the container, notify the carrier immediately. We provide good merchandise, properly packaged, to the carrier. Claims for damage must be directed to the carrier, not to Koala Motorsport.

Product Use
Many items are sold for competition and off road use only. It becomes the sole responsibility of the buyer to see that the use of their vehicle and items purchased comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

CORE RETURN POLICY
Core charges apply to all rebuilt items including engines, transmissions and differentials. Core charges are fully refunded on receipt of your rebuildable core. A rebuildable core means that all hard parts are in good condition.

• This policy covers how Koala Motorsport LLC treats personal information that Koala Motorsport LLC collects and receives, including information related to your past use of Koala Motorsport LLC products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
  
• This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Koala Motorsport LLC does not own or control, or to people that Koala Motorsport LLC does not employ or manage. In addition, certain Koala Motorsport LLC associated companies such as Quaife, UUC Motorwerks and Turner Motorsport may have their own privacy statements which can be viewed on their respective web sites.
